About This Tool
Choose from four starting layouts: a 1080 × 1080 square post, a 1080 × 1920 vertical story, a 3840 × 2160 YouTube video thumbnail, or a 1000 × 1500 Pinterest pin. Square and story sizes are general-purpose layouts, not guarantees of acceptance by every platform.
When to Use It
Reuse one photo across different publishing formats without guessing the aspect ratio. Padding is selected when you choose a preset so the whole image stays visible; switch to crop if you want the picture to fill every edge.
How It Works Locally
Select a preset, choose your framing mode, and preview each image. Presets set dimensions without silently changing your chosen output format or file-size target. YouTube guidance recommends JPG or PNG; check your destination platform before exporting WebP.
Impact on Image Quality
Padding gives an exact canvas without enlarging a small source. Crop may produce a smaller output unless enlargement is enabled. If you also allow dimension reduction for a file-size target, the final dimensions may be smaller than the preset; the result reports that change.
Your Images Stay on Your Device
Your images are decoded and processed on your device. Image contents are not uploaded to a processing server. Downloads and ZIP creation also happen locally.
Browser Support & Performance
Use a recent browser with canvas image support. WebP encoding and HEIC decoding availability vary; unsupported files produce an error without stopping the rest of your batch. Large images and repeated compression attempts take longer on mobile devices.
