How PixelConvert handles your photos and preferences.
Image processing
Conversion, compression, resizing and ZIP creation run in your browser. The converter does not send your images to an image-processing server. The website and, when needed, its HEIC decoder are downloaded.
Downloads and sharing
Downloading saves a copy to your device. “Share converted photos” passes only the converted results to the destination you choose in your device’s share sheet. “Help a friend” shares only a converter link and message, without your photos or filenames. That link includes ref=friend to identify its source.
Memory and preferences
Files and previews are held in tab memory during processing. Remove files or close the tab to release those resources. The light or dark theme preference is stored in local storage. Photos are not saved in local storage.
Website services
The site loads a Google AdSense script and a Relyvo badge. These services can receive connection data and use their own storage and tracking practices. Local photo processing does not mean that the website makes no network requests. Consult those services’ privacy information.
Keep your originals
Exports do not preserve original EXIF fields or every HEIC feature. Keep your original files and check the converted results before using them.
