Rename a batch of images at once

Create consistent filenames with prefixes, suffixes, patterns and numbering. Preview every name, arrange the order, then download the original files in a ZIP.

Files stay on your device

HOW IT WORKS

Organized names without image changes

The renamer packages exact copies of your selected files. It never replaces the originals on your device.

01

Add images in a batch

Select JPG, PNG, WebP, HEIC or another supported bitmap format. New selections append to the list, up to 100 files and 500 MB total.

02

Build a reusable pattern

Combine original names, padded numbers, a prefix and a suffix. Extensions stay attached automatically, including their original letter case.

03

Preview and reorder

Every output name appears before export. Reordering the list updates number tokens immediately, and duplicate names receive a safe numbered suffix.

04

Download one verified ZIP

The archive is created and checked in your browser. Files keep their original bytes; only their paths inside the ZIP use the new names.

Bulk renaming questions

Will renaming reduce image quality?

No. Images are stored in the ZIP without recompression or pixel processing, so the contents remain byte-for-byte unchanged.

What happens when two names match?

The preview adds “(2)”, “(3)” and so on before the extension. Collision checks are case-insensitive for safer extraction across operating systems.

Are my images uploaded?

No. Validation, filename generation, ZIP creation and verification happen locally in this browser tab.
